*Awaken your Creativity & Begin to Heal: a unique POETRY & YOGA workshop*

When: June 16th (Saturday) from 1am-3pm

Where: The Tabernacle Church, 50 Washington St., Salem MA

Are you an artist looking for fresh ideas? Do you want to tap into your deep well of creativity? Or, do you want to take your yoga practice in new directions? If YES, then this is the workshop for you!


With: Poet JENNIFER JEAN & Kripalu Yoga teacher MICHELLE GALLANT


We are all creative beings—whether we call ourselves artists or we are called on to create solutions for life’s everyday problems. In this workshop you will awaken your deep well of creativity with gentle yoga exercises, breath practices, and poetry writing prompts. These practices will help you make necessary SPACE in your body, and your life, in order to shed LIGHT on blockages and to let your creativity FLOW.


This workshop is for writers and yoga practitioners at all levels.


Materials needed: pen, paper, yoga mat & pillow (please let us know beforehand if you need to borrow a mat).

The theme for session is How to Publish Your Poetry. Poet Jennifer Jean will guide participants in readying their work for publication, finding a market for their work, and composing cover and query letters. She will also discuss new markets and technologies, as well as the benefits of artistic collaborations.
