Poetry Readings, Festival Readings, & Speaking Engagements

I have over a fifteen years’ experience giving featured and ensemble readings, festival readings, and panel presentations; as well, I've given keynote talks to a variety of groups about the creative life, online and print journal editing, social justice poetry and art, teaching poetry to human-trafficking survivors, and a variety of other topics.

I’ve given presentations in-person and via Skype to: undergraduates (from non-English majors to Creative Writing majors), MFA graduate students, high schoolers, middle-schoolers, in-home salons, library patrons, book clubs, at writing conferences and festivals.

Please peruse my NEWS page to get an idea about my range over the past few years.

As well, check out this list of possible Lecture Topics.

Notable events/venues include: The Women's Federation for World Peace 2013 Conference (keynote speaker); Her Story Is at the Joiner Institute; Mass Poetry Festival: The State of Poetry (2010-present), Speaker at Boston Collage in 2018; Associated Writers Program Conferences (as moderator and panelist, 2013 and 2015);

To book me for a reading, festival, or other speaking engagement—or to ask about my rates—email me with the reading date and time of day, travel/lodging arrangements, suggested length of performance, and any bio statement or promotion requirements:

Poetry is the heart coming around the corner and unexpectedly running into the mind.
